1. Try Washing With Water Only
Washing face with harsh cleansers is one of the most common skin care mistakes you can make if you have dry facial skin. Harsh cleansers will remove skin under-producing oils, which help protect the skin from flaking off. Instead of washing your face with any kind of soap, you should try washing with only plain water, particularly when you are not wearing makeup. However, you should use the warm, not hot water, because hot water may be drying. You can wet a washcloth with the warm water. Then you gently run it all over your face. Then you splash some drops of warm water onto your face. Next, you use 5 fingers to rub this oil blend all over your face. Next, you use the warm water and a washcloth wet to remove the oil gently. You wipe it off by using a circular motion. Then, you rinse it out and you continue doing this technique until you see all the oil on face is gone. You should repeat this solution if still having makeup on face. Finally, you rinse your face with the warm water and you pat dry with your soft towel.
3. Exfoliate Your Face Some Times Per Week
Researchers indicated that dry skin is a layer of the dead skin cells, which build up & begin to slough off. If you remove this layer of dry, dead skin a few times per week, you will get a fresh & healthy skin underneath. To treat dry skin on legs, you just need to coat your legs into lanolin crème like Bag Balm, per day for a week. After applying this way for 7 days, you may move to coating with just a normal layer 3 to 4 days/time. In addition, you can coat your legs before going to bedroom and then you wear some old pajamas on the top. Next, you let this product sink in during you sleep.
5. Protect Skin From The Cold
When the air gets cold, the moisture is precipitated naturally out of the air, and causing the air dryer than normal. If the air is dry, this will leach the moisture from your skin (in order to help achieve a sort of balance). That is the reason why your skin always becomes much dryer in winter.
